Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

Precision Engine collects and uses personal information needed to provide accounts, subscriptions, cloud projects, usage credits, support, communications, security, analytics, and AI-assisted features. Payment-card information is processed by Stripe and is not directly stored in complete form by Precision Engine.

Project content and prompts may be processed to provide the tools requested by the user. Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive or regulated information. This Policy explains what information is handled, why it is used, which service providers may receive it, how long it may be retained, and the choices and privacy rights available to users.

Precision Engine provides subscription-based decision-making and productivity tools. This Privacy Policy describes how Precision Engine handles personal information when you visit the website, create an account, subscribe, use the tools, save cloud projects, or contact support.

Precision Engine is currently a pre-incorporation business operated under the name "Precision Engine". No corporation, registered entity, corporate address, registration number, or telephone number is displayed in this Policy because none has been established yet.

1. Scope of the Policy

This Policy applies to personal information handled through the public Precision Engine website, registered user accounts, Free and paid plans, Precision Engine tools, saved cloud projects, subscription and billing interactions, customer support, emails and communications, and other interactions expressly linked to this Policy.

This Policy concerns personal information about identifiable individuals. It does not necessarily apply to information that has been anonymized so that it can no longer reasonably identify an individual.

Third-party websites and services may have their own privacy policies. This Policy does not cover their practices, but this does not remove any responsibility Precision Engine has under applicable law for providers processing information on its behalf.

The Terms of Service and the Refund and Cancellation Policy are related documents and should be read together with this Policy.

2. Accountability and Privacy Contact

Precision Engine is responsible for personal information under its control and is accountable for complying with applicable privacy laws.

You may contact the Privacy Officer concerning questions about this Policy, access or correction requests, consent withdrawal where applicable, account or data-deletion requests, portability requests where applicable, privacy complaints, or suspected privacy incidents.

The privacy contact method is the existing support email listed in the Contact section below. No separate privacy-specific email address, postal address, or corporate title is used, because none has been established yet.

3. Information We Collect

This section describes only categories of information actually handled by Precision Engine, based on the current implementation.

A. Account and profile information

  • Username (a unique display name chosen at registration)
  • Email address (used for authentication and communications)
  • Communication-language preference (English or French)
  • Account role (user or admin)
  • Account status and plan information
  • Date and time of account creation

Passwords are handled through the authentication system. Precision Engine does not view or store passwords in readable form.

B. Subscription and transaction information

  • Selected plan (Free, Starter, Pro, or Elite)
  • Monthly or annual billing frequency
  • Subscription status and renewal date
  • Transaction date, amount, and currency
  • Stripe customer, subscription, checkout, invoice, and payment-status identifiers
  • Limited payment-method details returned by Stripe (such as card brand and last digits), where provided

Complete payment-card numbers and card security codes are processed by Stripe and are not directly stored by Precision Engine.

C. Project, tool, and user-content information

  • Project names and descriptions
  • Project parameters, schedules, tasks, and dependencies
  • Automation assumptions, costs, and ROI inputs
  • Sketches, diagrams, and object data
  • Risk, prioritization, and value-assessment data
  • Prompts submitted to AI-assisted features
  • Generated outputs and saved reports
  • Export activity

Project information may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Saved cloud projects are stored so you can reopen and edit them later.

D. Usage-credit and service-activity information

  • Available and consumed Engine Credits
  • Credit transactions and the tool or operation that triggered them
  • Date and time of credit use
  • Plan limits and saved-project counts
  • Feature-access events

E. Support and communication information

  • Account email and message content submitted through the contact form
  • Support request details
  • Communication-language preference
  • Email-delivery status and onboarding or abandoned-checkout communication records

Please do not include passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card information, or banking credentials in support messages.

F. Technical, device, log, and analytics information

  • IP address
  • Browser and device type and operating system
  • Pages or features visited and approximate session times
  • Error logs and security events
  • Analytics events (such as feature-use or waitlist-signup events)

Product-analytics events are recorded through the Base44 platform. A Google Analytics 4 tag is present in the page but is not currently configured with an active measurement ID, so no Google Analytics property currently collects data.

G. Marketing and consent information

  • Newsletter or lead-magnet email subscriptions
  • Source of subscription and unsubscribe status

Marketing communications are optional and distinguishable from essential service messages. No preselected marketing consent is applied.

H. Information from third parties

  • Stripe (subscription and billing status)
  • Authentication providers used for sign-in
  • Email-delivery services (Resend)
  • AI providers accessed through the Base44 integration layer
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers (Base44)

4. Information You Should Not Submit

Do not submit unnecessary sensitive, regulated, classified, or highly confidential information through projects, prompts, support requests, or AI-assisted features.

  • Account passwords or authentication codes
  • Complete payment-card numbers or card security codes
  • Banking passwords or credentials
  • Government-issued identification numbers unless explicitly required and supported
  • Medical records or highly sensitive human-resources information
  • Classified information or trade secrets you are not authorized to process
  • Personal information about other individuals without appropriate authority

Precision Engine is not certified or designed to process health, banking, classified, government-security, or other specially regulated data.

5. Purposes for Collecting and Using Information

Precision Engine uses personal information for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing accounts and authenticating users
  • Providing Free and paid-plan features
  • Processing and administering subscriptions, including monthly and annual billing
  • Managing usage credits and plan limits
  • Saving and retrieving cloud projects
  • Generating calculations, schedules, sketches, reports, exports, recommendations, and AI-assisted outputs
  • Responding to support requests
  • Sending service, security, account, billing, renewal, onboarding, or recovery communications
  • Sending promotional communications where permitted
  • Measuring service usage and performance and diagnosing errors
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents
  • Enforcing the Terms of Service and complying with legal obligations
  • Improving existing tools using aggregated, de-identified, operational, or feedback information

7. AI-Assisted Features

Some tools offer AI-assisted features, such as generating sketches, schedules, recommendations, or decision-support outputs from a prompt you provide.

When you use an AI-assisted feature, your prompt and the relevant project inputs or instructions you provide — including any project images you attach to an estimate — may be sent to an AI provider through the Base44 integration layer to generate the requested output. The models used may include third-party AI models such as Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini models.

Account identifiers are not intentionally included in the prompt text sent to the AI provider. The generated output is returned to your session and may be stored in your saved cloud project if you choose to save it.

Whether the AI provider retains inputs or outputs, uses them for model training, or processes them outside Canada depends on the provider's configuration and contracts, which have not been fully confirmed. You should assume that information submitted to AI-assisted features may be processed outside Canada.

  • Avoid submitting unnecessary personal or confidential information to AI-assisted features.
  • You must have authority to submit any information concerning another person.
  • AI outputs may contain inferred or generated information and should be reviewed before reliance.
  • AI-assisted processing is used to provide requested features and not to make binding decisions about employment, credit, insurance, eligibility, health, or legal rights.

AI training, retention, provider identity, and processing-location details have not been fully confirmed and should be verified before any specific claim is published.

8. Cookies, Local Storage, and Similar Technologies

Precision Engine uses a limited set of cookies and browser-storage technologies. A cookie-consent preference centre is provided — you can accept or decline optional analytics and advertising categories, and you can change your preferences at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

  • Authentication and security: session cookies managed by the platform to keep you signed in (strictly necessary, always active).
  • Preferences: a theme preference stored in local storage, and a sidebar-state cookie used by the interface (functional, always active).
  • Session storage: short-lived values such as a selected billing period, pricing intent, tool-access intent, or checkout idempotency flag, cleared when the browser tab closes.
  • Analytics (optional): Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and anonymous measurement data to understand site usage. No GA4 script, cookie, or network request is sent until you grant analytics consent. Consent is stored in local storage under the key “pe_consent_preferences”.
  • Advertising (optional): Google Ads uses cookies for conversion tracking and advertising measurement, including ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization. No Google Ads script, cookie, or network request is sent until you grant advertising consent.

You can control cookies and local storage through your browser settings, but disabling essential technologies may affect service functionality. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking but does not delete data that Google may have already collected.

9. Analytics and Advertising

Precision Engine currently uses limited product-analytics events through the Base44 platform to understand feature usage, tool access, and waitlist sign-ups. No session replay, error-monitoring service, remarketing, interest-based advertising, or cross-site tracking is currently active.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4, measurement ID G-XXCFJJ6BLC) is loaded using Basic Consent Mode: no GA4 script, cookie, cookieless ping, or page-view event is sent until you grant analytics consent. When granted, GA4 receives page-path and page-title information only — no names, email addresses, account identifiers, Stripe information, project content, or authentication tokens are sent.

Google Ads (tag AW-18436575456) is loaded using Basic Consent Mode: no Google Ads script, cookie, or advertising event is sent until you grant advertising consent. When granted, the tag supports conversion tracking and advertising measurement, including ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization.

Precision Engine does not sell personal information and does not disclose personal information for targeted advertising. Necessary service-provider processing is not a sale.

10. Emails and Communications

Essential or transactional communications include account verification, password or authentication notices, security notices, subscription confirmations, billing and payment information, service changes, support responses, and material legal-policy updates. These are required to operate an account or subscription.

Operational or onboarding communications include welcome emails, activation guidance, feature education, and abandoned-checkout recovery messages. These help you get value from the service.

Promotional communications, where offered, include newsletters, promotions, and product announcements. These are optional, and you can unsubscribe using the link in the email.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent essential service messages. Delivery, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe information may be processed by the email provider.

Transactional and onboarding emails are delivered through Resend, the email-delivery service used by Precision Engine.

11. Payments and Stripe

Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. When you subscribe, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted checkout or customer portal to enter and manage payment information.

Precision Engine receives and stores limited billing information, such as subscription status, selected plan, payment status, transaction amount and currency, invoice or transaction references, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and limited payment-method details returned by Stripe.

Complete payment-card numbers and card security codes are submitted directly to Stripe and are not directly stored in complete form by Precision Engine. Stripe's privacy practices are governed by its own privacy notice.

Stripe's privacy information is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

12. Disclosure to Service Providers and Other Parties

Precision Engine may provide limited information to service providers that perform necessary functions, such as hosting and infrastructure, database and cloud storage, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, analytics, and AI.

  • Base44 — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and the AI integration layer
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
  • Resend — email delivery
  • AI providers accessed through the Base44 integration layer — AI-assisted feature generation

Information may also be disclosed with your direction or consent, to comply with a valid legal requirement, to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or Terms violations, to protect users, Precision Engine, or others where legally permitted, or in connection with a future incorporation, financing, reorganization, acquisition, sale, or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law. No such transaction is currently underway.

13. Cross-Border Processing

Service providers may process or store information outside Québec or Canada. Base44, Stripe, Resend, and AI providers may operate infrastructure in other jurisdictions.

Information processed in another jurisdiction may be subject to that jurisdiction's laws. Precision Engine uses service providers to operate the service and remains accountable for personal information under its control to the extent required by applicable law.

A specific storage region, data centre, country, or residency guarantee has not been confirmed.

14. Retention and Deletion

Different information may be retained for different periods depending on the purpose for which it was collected, active account or subscription requirements, user project storage, transaction and accounting obligations, fraud prevention, security and incident records, legal requirements, dispute resolution, backup cycles, and legitimate operational needs permitted by law.

Precision Engine does not currently have a formal, documented retention schedule. Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the identified purposes and applicable obligations, and then securely deleted or anonymized when appropriate.

Information is not automatically or permanently deleted when you cancel a subscription, return to the Free plan, delete a project, close an account, or request deletion. Certain billing, transaction, security, legal, and backup records may remain for an appropriate period where required or permitted.

The absence of a documented retention schedule and automatic deletion workflow is an operational item requiring future attention.

15. Security Safeguards

Precision Engine uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the service, including authenticated account access, role-based and account-based access controls, server-side ownership checks for saved projects, secure HTTPS transmission, managed hosting safeguards, restricted Stripe operations, limited access to production information, and secret management.

No online system can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials and for reporting suspected unauthorized access.

No formal security certification, encryption-at-rest guarantee, or penetration-testing coverage is claimed unless separately verified.

16. Privacy Incidents

Precision Engine will assess suspected privacy incidents and take reasonable steps to contain the incident, investigate its cause and scope, reduce the risk of harm, correct relevant weaknesses, keep required records, and notify affected individuals and competent authorities when required by applicable law.

To report a suspected privacy incident, use the support email listed in the Contact section below.

17. User Rights and Requests

Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, individuals may request:

  • Confirmation of whether Precision Engine holds personal information about them
  • Access to their personal information
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Withdrawal of consent where applicable
  • Deletion or de-indexation where applicable
  • Information about the use and disclosure of their information
  • Data portability in a structured, commonly used format where applicable
  • Assistance or information concerning a privacy concern

How to make a request

  • Contact the Privacy Officer using the support email listed below.
  • Identify the account using the minimum information required.
  • Describe the request.
  • Complete reasonable identity verification.
  • Precision Engine will respond within the period required by applicable law.

You do not need to send passwords, authentication codes, complete payment-card numbers, card security codes, or banking credentials. Precision Engine may request reasonable identity verification, refuse or limit a request where permitted or required by law, retain information required for transactions, security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or disputes, and explain any legally permitted refusal.

18. Account Cancellation, Closure, and Data Deletion

Cancelling a paid subscription normally prevents future renewals but does not automatically close the account. After cancellation, the account may return to the Free plan.

Projects exceeding the Free-plan limit may become inaccessible rather than immediately deleted. Deleting an individual project removes it from your saved projects.

Account closure and privacy-related deletion requests may follow a separate process. Currently, there is no self-service account-closure or data-deletion feature; you may request closure or deletion by contacting the Privacy Officer using the support email below.

Certain billing, transaction, security, legal, and backup records may remain for an appropriate period where required or permitted.

For refund and cancellation terms, see the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

19. Children's Privacy

Precision Engine is not intended for children. No specific minimum age is established in the Terms of Service or account flow.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information may contact Precision Engine using the support email below so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

20. Third-Party Links and Services

The website may link to independent third-party websites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and Precision Engine does not control them.

Users should review the relevant third-party privacy information. This does not remove any responsibility Precision Engine has under applicable law for providers processing information on its behalf.

21. Do Not Sell or Improperly Disclose Information

Precision Engine does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Necessary service-provider processing described in this Policy is not a sale.

Precision Engine does not disclose personal information for targeted or interest-based advertising. The limited circumstances in which information may be communicated are described in the Disclosure and Cross-Border Processing sections.

22. Automated Decisions and Profiling

Precision Engine does not use personal information to make significant automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning individuals.

AI-generated project-management, scheduling, risk, prioritization, sketch, or value-analysis outputs are requested by you to support your own decisions and are distinct from automated decisions made by Precision Engine about you.

Limited analytics events and fraud-prevention checks do not constitute profiling that produces significant effects.

23. Changes to This Policy

Precision Engine may update this Policy to reflect changes to the service, providers, practices, or legal requirements. The updated date will be displayed on this page.

Material changes will be communicated when required or appropriate, and additional consent will be requested where required by applicable law. An updated Policy will not retroactively authorize materially different uses where new consent is legally required.

24. Privacy Complaints

If you have a privacy complaint, you may use the following internal process:

  • Contact the Privacy Officer using the support email listed below.
  • Describe the concern and relevant account information.
  • Precision Engine will review the issue and may request limited additional information.
  • Precision Engine will communicate its findings or response as appropriate.

You may also contact the competent privacy regulator where you have that right. For Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec may be contacted. For matters under federal private-sector law, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada may be contacted. No single regulator has exclusive jurisdiction in every situation.
